Roosevelt Corollary

This cartoon is on the issue of the Roosevelt Corollary. The cartoonist message is showing how the whole world wants to somehow intervene in a U.S affair. Roosevelt is acting as a policeman and stopping all of them. An other opinion on the issue is showing Roosevelt is a good leader and president. He is keeping the Europeans and other foreigners from intervening in U.S affairs. This political cartoon is showing an analogy, which makes the cartoon more effective. It is comparing Roosevelt to a policeman, and his size is exaggerated. All the other smaller people symbolizes mostly Europe. This cartoon supports my opinion because it shows the effectiveness of the Roosevelt Corollary, and supports Roosevelt. This cartoon does indeed support imperialism.
