The issue of the political is the about Open Door Policy. It is the issue of who gets what benefits from China. The cartoonist message is showing how the Open Door Policy play in and is the solution. It is a compromise that all the nations make to the new opportunities China offers. Most people would generally have the same opinion but some would say the U.S benefits the most. I think the policy is completely fair. The cartoonist used labeling to label the country China. The cartoonist also used symbolism when he used a character like Uncle Sam to symbolize a country. This overall supports my opinion because it is showing how imperialism is benefiting all these different countries.
